About us

Welcome to a new experience

For more than thirty years Anytec has strived to build the world’s best aluminum boats. The same guiding principles have accompanied us throughout: an absolutely uncompromising attitude with regard to materials and construction. This motivates us to further develop what is already the best product on the market. This year, Anytec returns stronger, faster and better equipped to meet the challenges of the sea than ever before. However, one thing will never change: our unique hull design. Sharp, well-balanced hulls with just the right amount of power

One purpose

We are to build the best aluminium boats on the market. We know that our boats are highly regarded when they're brand new, but almost more attractive when used. Those that buy our boats need not worry, switching to a new Anytec model is no problem, the old one basically sells itself with most of its value intact. Best of all, when the boat finally is sold for scrap in 70-100 years or so its fully recycleable.

The first step

The 60s - the decade during which the Beatles dominated the charts and when one man took a small step for humanity. The Swedish Folkhemmet, or Peoples Home, was built and - in the middle of all this - existed a small dockyard in Östhammar on the outskirts of Stockholm. This dockyard in particular was known for its knowledge of boatbuilding and boat repairs. This is where the idea behind Anytec was born.

The 60s
Buy it for life

The dockyard by the name of Öregrundsvarvet acquired more and more contracts for building both passengerboats as well as working boats in aluminium. Over time the dockyard grew to become one of the leading Swedish companies for welding and boat build in aluminium. During the 70s and 80s many boats were born here. The dockyard changed owners a few times and went through a number of economical troubles, but thanks to the skill the workers had acquired throughout the years they always got on their feet again.

The 70s
The first boat

In the mid 90s an employee at the dockyard got an idea, why not buy aluminium boats for leisure use? After long discussions the board finally gave its approval and manufacturing could begin. A number of boats were built to order, often with special equipment and solutions to fit the customers. The boats quickly gained a following in the Stockholm archipelago. The boats combined the unique properties of the aluminium with ruggedness and great seaworthiness, in a way that hadn't been on offer in the past.

The 90s
Anytec is born

The management at Öregrundsvarvet had a problem. Demand was increasing and the dockyard that had served its purpose for so long suddenly felt cramped. In addition there was a large labour shortage in Östhammer. A decision was made to invest in large-scale manufacturing and a real brand. The year was 2004 and Anytec was born for real. Production began in Riga and a dealership network was established in Sweden, Norway and Finland.

The 00s
Continuing success

Vast resources have been invested in product development over the years. Today Anytec is a  the market leading manufacturer of aluminium boats. In 2015 Anytec beat its own sales record for the third year in a row. The dealership network has expanded past the Swedish borders and is now present in not just Scandinavia but also in Finland, Russia, Germany and the baltic states. Take a test drive and experience why.

Today
Our pride and joy

All our boats are build by hand by experienced and passionate boat builders. Our production methods ensure a highly sophisticated result, but there's also pride in the workmanship that we do. We inspect every individual weld and detail, all to ensure that our boats are of the highest quality from stern to bow.

Never compromise

Delivering boats that exceed expectectations requires us to set the bar high.
